چکیده
Diabetes affects roughly 537 million people, and is predicted to reach 783 by 2045. Foot Ulcer (DFU) a major complication associated with diabetes can lead lower limb amputation. The rapid evolution of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) necessitates immediate intervention prevent the severe consequences amputation related complications. Continuous meticulous patient monitoring for individuals crucial currently carried out medical practitioners on daily basis. This research article introduces DFU-Helper, novel framework that employs Siamese Neural Network (SNN) accurate objective assessment progression over time. DFU-Helper provides healthcare professionals comprehensive visual numerical representation in terms similarity distance disease, considering five distinct disease conditions: none, infection, ischemia, both (presence ischemia infection), healthy. SNN achieves best Macro F1-score 0.6455 test dataset when applying pseudo-labeling pseudo-threshold set 0.9. used process creating anchors each class using feature vectors. When initially consults professional, an image transmitted model, which computes distances from anchor point. It generates table corresponding figures visually intuitive radar chart. In subsequent visits, another captured fed into model alongside initial image. then plots images presents points. Our proposed system represents significant advancement application deep learning longitudinal DFU. To our knowledge, no existing tool harnesses DFU follow-up comparable manner.

Every 30 seconds, one lower limb amputation due to diabetes is performed in the world. This study was conducted on a 64-year-old woman with a diabetic foot on her left leg [Sci Rew1] . The patient had pain with a visual analog scale (VAS) score of 80 mm on 100 mm. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of a product derived from leeches in the treatment of DFUs. Wound grade 1 according to Wagne...

Background Foot ulceration is one of the most significant complications of diabetes, and will affect 15-20% of people with diabetes at some point in their lives. Such ulcers frequently become infected with very serious sequelae which can often lead to amputation making diabetes the most common cause of lower extremity amputations. Infections cause increased morbidity (and/or mortality) which me...

It is estimated that approximately 15% of diabetic people world-wide will at some stage develop diabetic foot ulceration. The prevalence of active foot ulceration varies from approx‐ imately 1% in certain European and North American studies to more than 11% in reports from some African countries (table 1). Although there have been many developments in recent years which encourage optimism for f...

Diabetic foot problems are common throughout the world, resulting in major medical, social and economic consequences for the patients, their families, and society. Foot ulcers are more likely to be of neuropathic origin, and therefore eminently preventable. People at greatest risk of ulceration can easily be identified by careful clinical examination of the feet: education and frequent follow-u...
